Lt. Dr. SHAMEER BABU EK is currently working as an Assistant Professor in Arabic at MES Mampad college,Calicut University. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Arabic from MG university kottayam,india. . He received M.A.(Hons.) in Arabic degree with first class from Calicut University, Kerala. He has around 12 years of experience in research and teaching. His areas of teaching interest include Linguistics, Literature, and Morphology etc. His research areas are Indian Arabic literature, Magrib literature etc. He has full-time two years & part time five years of research experience as Research Scholar from the Department of Maharaja’s college Ernakulum. . He has published some research papers in refereed national and international Journals. He has presented papers in international and national level conferences. He has qualified NCC ‘PRCN Course & REF Course’ certificate by the authority of Ministry of Defence, Government of India.
